Before we go.
What is included in a guided trip?
Current guided rates include lunch, non-alcoholic beverages, shuttle service, leader, tippet, and a fly rod. Bring your own rod if you prefer. Alcohol, airport transportation, rentals, fishing licenses, personal gear such as sunglasses or waders, and gratuity are separate.
What should I bring?
Bring the clothing and personal items you need for the weather. We’ll help you fine-tune the rest for your trip.
How do I reserve a date?
Send a trip request or call us. We’ll talk through dates, group size, and the kind of day you have in mind.
Can beginners book a trip?
Yes. We’ll shape the day around your group, whether you are learning the basics or bringing years on the water.
How much should I tip a Montana fly-fishing guide?
Gratuity is optional and never required. Guests often choose $100–$150 per guided trip when they want to recognize the guide’s preparation and service, but there is no cap or required amount. You may tip whenever it is convenient.
